Villa Silvina Resort

Hollo! So yesterday we went to Villa Silvina Resort here in St. Francis VII, Phase 6, San Antonio, Binan City, Laguna to celebrate my brothers mini birthday party, where we would swim and just enjoy the place.

We woke up early at around 6:00am because we needed to be there before 8:00am because that's when the party is going to start. Though, some of them went ahead to reserve our cottages, and I was left to help around with bringing the food for the party.

I am wearing a white easy-breezy sleeveless top, a gorgeous Bohemian bottom by Tiddletots, and my "it's time for travel" string bag.

The place is just like a hidden paradise because it's hidden. You have to enter the St. Francis VII homes here in San Antonio, Binan, Laguna. During the trip, you will be able to enjoy the view by seeing cows and goats on the way, houses, and  plants or field. Though, I have to be honest. I would say that it ain't easy going there. The road is a bit bumpy, and you might be able to find some filth along the road. And just as I said, its hidden. But even if its hard to find you can still ask some friendly locals about the direction, rent a tricycle or use it for convo from Olivarez or Binan Bayan which costs about P40-P60 (well... it depends, on how good your haggling skill is) or better yet, use your map app :).

I for one, love this kinds of view. I love exploring places seeing lots of trees and plants. It just feels good.

And woah Villa Silvina is quite a sight. You won't miss it because it's kinda huge and its striking white facade with colourful flags. (trade mark of many resorts) As soon as you reached the location, its gonna be a stark contrast from the bumpy and maze-like road you travelled. Kinda like an oasis in a desert

As soon as you enter the resort, you will be welcomed by an attendant who serves as the cashier and a sales person in one. The resort rates is also in the entrance posted on a window. There is also a stall/store there where you can buy some goods.

They offer pools for public and private. Behind this structure, is for the private section.

They will be putting a stamp on you to mark that you are payed so that you will be free to go out and come back again. (Just like what they do in theme parks)
Forgot to bring your floaters? No worries because here, they have a store that provides some affordable goods. Not just floaters, but also some swimsuits, towels, slippers, and many more. They also sell food and drinks like ice cream, chips, and many more.

Once you already checked in (P100 /kids below 3 ft; P120/adults), you will need a place to put your stuff or just relax. You can rent a "kubo" (nipa hut), Cabanas, or a room.

The nipa huts are just near the entrance and on the left side of the public pool. There is also one hut located beside the pool's slide.
These are the cabanas where we stayed.
Looking at the pool as soon as I stepped out of the room.

The resort has two sides. There is the private pool section and the public pool section. It really depends on who you're going to be with and how you will make it memorable. If you're going to have a private party, choose the private pool. Here, you wont have any gate-crashers. You will also be able to enjoy an unlimited game of pool/billiards. Great for adults and teens to just hang and stay cool in the pool. you can also ask the tenants to put on a karaoke for you and your guests to enjoy. You also wont have to worry about your kid swimming in the adult pool because, there is a rail that separates it from the kiddie pool.

This part or this section of the resort is perfect for exclusive celebrations.

The pool is divided by a rail. The part in front of the picture is suited for kids because its more shallow than the other one behind it.
I love this! Great for FB and Instagram pics. Its a good thing I wore this haha sets the mood.

On the other hand, the public pool spells F-U-N and just enjoying the day. It has 2 pools, one for adults and one for kids and they both have SLIDES and water that sprinkles Hooray! And they play music to enjoy. At that time they keep on playing "baby shark" maybe because they see lots of kids around.
This is the main pool, where they made it "look like" a beach with white sand. Kinda like it though. Beside the slide is a stage where you can bring a band or whatever. Where I always saw the lifeguard sitting.
This is the kiddie pool in the public section with a slide that you and your kids would enjoy. Good thing about it is, it has a roof. So it wont get you sunburns. The water is a bit colder than the main pool. There are also life guards watching near.

They also have this pavilion where in some occasions, they put chairs and table for you to rent when there are too many people. there is also a karaoke for you and your friends/family to enjoy.

There are shower areas and a Bathroom. Don't worry, they're clean and well maintained.

(Verdict)

Villa Silvina is a Good place to spend your weekend and just have fun with your friends and family. Kids and adults alike will enjoy.

There are some cons too like it being "sadyain" or not that accessible because its far from the main road, some of the karaoke buttons are hard to press and the slide is just a bit slow unless you kneel down. Maybe it depends on how you position yourself. "And another thing is, you still have to pay for entrance and cabana even if you are already renting a room, which for me a cabana is no longer needed because you already have a room.

(Review)

Out of 5:

Location:        3      Not that accessible, bumpy roads, and some filth along the way

Pool:                 4       Its clean, love how it's designed like a beach. If they made the water a bit hotter, it would have been a paradise.

Crew
:               4       The people there are friendly and approachable.

Affordability:  4       Affordable. Except for the room thingy.

Ambience:      4       The ambience is great. Maybe they just need to liven up the private pool area. Make it a bit brighter.

Cleanliness:    4      Love how the resort is well maintained especially the comfort room/changing room (where I am most particular with) and the shower areas.
